What to do if my body butter has melted?
We do not use preservatives in our body butters, therefore they are temperature sensitive. If the product melts into a liquid form from heat exposure, refrigerate for 1 hour.
Does the body butter expire?
Best used within 1 year of opening.
To maximize the shelf life of your product keep away from water and extreme heat.
What if I get water into my body butter jar?
Do not get water into the body butter jar. Our body butters are all oil based and getting water into the product jar can cause the oils to go rancid.
Can I use the body butter on my face?
Even though the ingredients in our body butters are low on the comedogenic scale (scale used to determine if it will clog pores), we do Not recommend using on your face if you have oily, acne prone or sensitive skin.
My body butter jar has arrived cracked or damaged.
We will replace your purchase free of charge!
We package all of our body butters carefully to avoid possible damage in transportation. If by chance the jar does happen to get damaged when shipped, please send a request for a replacement along with an image/picture of the damaged jar as well as your order # and shipping information to carlee.mellonature@gmail.com.
